🛡️ The Importance Of Stream Moderators

Finding the right moderators for your livestream is key to creating a positive environment. For me, new mods have simple eligibility criteria. I need to trust them. Look for viewers who have been consistently active, respectful, and engaged in your chat for at least a few weeks.

Moderators do more than remove spam—they help set the tone of your stream. They can welcome new viewers, encourage interaction, and even express gratitude to donors. A great moderator creates a sense of community and ensures everyone feels valued.

Don’t wait too long to assign moderators—it’s a step towards stream growth. Start small by appointing one or two trusted viewers and adjusting as your community grows. A good mod team can significantly enhance your focus and your stream's overall quality.

Ultimately, good mods = strong community. This should lead to more donations, follows, views etc.
