😡 How To Stop TikTok Warnings

Over 60% of TikTok streamers have received a warning from TikTok. That statistic is absolutely crazy to me. Imagine the outrage if this happened on Twitch!

Example of a TikTok LIVE warning.

As I discussed in my Dear TikTok video, TikTok does not have a set of livestreaming guidelines. The general community guidelines are not fit for purpose.

Why do streamers get warnings?

Usually for one of three reasons.

  • Viewers mass report your stream.

  • TikTok’s AI is scanning your stream and thinks you are breaking the rules even if you are not.

  • You are breaking the rules without realising. Probably due to a lack of clear guidelines.

How does the AI detection work?

We don’t know for sure but it seems pretty obvious that the AI is doing three main things.

  • Firstly it is scanning your livestream looking for specific things such as gift icons.

  • It is also listening to what you say and looking out for unknown trigger words.

  • Finally, it is analysing the data coming through your stream such as the list of viewers and the amount of likes.

If the AI sees something it doesn’t like, it restricts your livestream.

How to avoid restrictions.

The answer is fairly simple but it can take some time to get right. Experiment with your stream setup.

  • Try mirroring gift icons or hiding part of the image. Perhaps use a different image entirely. For example, use a rose emoji instead of the TikTok icon.

  • If you’re using on-screen alerts from TikFinity or LIVE Studio try changing the wording of the alerts.

  • Switch up what you say. Do not frequently use words like “follow”.

  • Study people who are clearly avoiding restrictions. The biggest example of somebody who clearly knows how to avoid restrictions is Ben Toye. He effectively sells followers to people but never gets banned.

👾 TikTok LIVE Minecraft Game

I’ve seen this game a few times on TikTok and I realised it was fairly easy to make. So I made it even easier by giving you folks a FREE ChatGPT prompt to create the whole thing!

The game is pretty simple. You place blocks (diamond or otherwise) inside a bedrock cube. The viewers stop you from completing the cube by sending gifts to spawn TNT or reset the entire cube. You make money, the viewers have fun!

🐦 Get Paid To Tweet

Yesterday, Twitter started paying creators for their tweets.

How livestreamers can get paid to tweet.

I love a good bullet-point plan so here is your 3 step plan to make money from Twitter.

  • To start, you need a Twitter Blue account and 5M monthly impressions. Read about the requirements here.

  • Start posting some of your videos and stream clips on Twitter. Combine it with insightful text tweets. Study the data and double down on the most successful content types.

  • Learn from other successful people in your niche. Do NOT copy/paste their tweets. Elon Musk has stated that this will get you demonetised.

YouTube and TikTok vastly changed when monetisation was introduced. It got a lot more competitive. Expect the same on Twitter. Take advantage now!
