Welcome back to another week of the streaming and content journey.

At long last, we have a great way to multistream anywhere from one OBS. Plus an interesting hint regarding vertical Twitch streaming.

🔴 Multistream Anywhere From One OBS

Just last Thursday, Aitum released their Multi plugin for OBS.

What Does It Do?

Simply put, multistream to all platforms, both landscape and vertical, from one OBS!

  • Combine it with Aitum Vertical to unlock the vertical canvas.

  • Set custom bitrates and settings for each platform. Or keep it simple with the same settings on everything!

  • Using the latest encoding tech, all modern graphics cards can handle this easily.

  • The only limitation is your internet upload speed. e.g. Three streams at a 6K bitrate would require an 18K upload speed.

Don’t forget that almost anybody can get a TikTok LIVE stream key.

Why Multistream?

You’ve probably seen me bang on about this before. For good reason!

  1. Money - Take advantage of things like Twitch Prime, Kick’s 95/5 split, YouTube super chat and more!

  2. Reach - Your audience is never in one place. More chances to reach them and hit the algorithm.

  3. Ban protection - Get banned somewhere? You can still stream.

  4. Engagement - Most platforms have unique engagement tools such as the YT community tab to help you grow.

How To Set It Up

Simply install both plugins then open OBS. I’ve made a detailed guide showing how to add each platform below.

Personally I think the viewers are smart. They can tell it’s a streaming clip and they’ll seek out your channel from the link in bio if they wish to without slapping the Twitch logo on.

As Lowco also pointed out, many platforms will suppress your views for using the logo.

  • YouTube is rolling out a way to appeal suspensions before you get demonetised.

  • Twitch is apparently still not profitable. Ten years after Amazon purchased it.

  • Twitch is also adding vertical livestreaming, but details are scarce. I’ll cover it fully in the newsletter once it's officially released.
