🤖 ChatGPT

What is it? ChatGPT is the reigning world champion of AI. It’s an AI-powered digital assistant designed to respond to any queries. That of course includes content creation!

How to use it: As Devin Nash explains, you should use ChatGPT for your “low-level thinking”. Combined with your expertise, you will massively improve your output and creativity.

The key to using ChatGPT correctly is the question you ask. Or as most people say: the prompt. When using ChatGPT, be as precise as possible with your question. Give it the full context it needs and understand that its knowledge cutoff is 2021. If something relevant has happened after that date, explain it to the bot.

Specific examples

• Stream titles, especially on TikTok, are super important. Check out this super detailed prompt I used to get 10 suggestions for a Fortnite ranked stream title.

• YouTube videos can be dramatically improved with ChatGPT. Feed your video scripts in it and ask for improvements. Similarly, ask for video title suggestions. I find it helpful to ask for suggestions in many different styles and mention you want a high CTR (click-through rate). Stuck for thumbnail ideas? Just ask!

• This newsletter name was partly suggested by AI. I asked for 20 catchy newsletter names. The name “Stream Success” was suggested and I quickly adapted this to “Live Success”. ChatGPT is fantastic for simply suggesting words you might have forgotten.

Remember, ChatGPT won’t do all the work for you but it’s definitely an excellent “second brain”!

Should you pay? GPT 3.5 is good. GPT 4 is even better. ChatGPT Plus gives access to this for $20/month.

Try the free version first. If you’re finding good value (and you will!) then upgrade!

Any alternatives? Google Bard has real-time information. I often find it to be “dumber” than ChatGPT though but it can be useful for real-world events.

Microsoft Bing also has ChatGPT built in. If you don’t want to pay for ChatGPT Plus then use this!

🔑 TikTok Stream Key Confusion

Let’s end today’s edition with some stream key drama.

Most of you probably know by now that the only guaranteed way to get a stream key is with an agency.

However, a 2 week old leaked screenshot from a private CarterPulse Discord server has surfaced. In it, CarterPulse claims that TikTok will now only give 7-day stream keys for “special events”. Meaning no more stream keys for most people.

I reached out to CarterPulse for comment:

Even the official agencies are “not sure” about stream keys. 😂
