As you read this I am about one week into a holiday in the Great Smoky Mountains ⛰. Therefore today’s edition was written at the end of April and I hope nothing crazy has happened in the last week!

🎵 The Basics

TikFinity is an alerts platform for TikTok LIVE. If you’ve ever used Streamlabs for Twitch or YT you’ll know what I mean.

If you haven’t used it yet I recommend you start with some basic alerts for follows, gifts and subs. You can follow my guide for that.

The TikTok algorithm will see the increased engagement in your live stream and therefore push your stream to more people.

Desktop App

TikFinity recently released a desktop app. I highly recommend switching.

The app is more stable than the website and crucially it supports subscriber events. That means when somebody subs you can use the Actions and Events page to create a custom subscriber alert. This is such an easy way to encourage more people to sub. Don’t forget you get $2.10 per month for every new TikTok sub.

🎮 Make Money While Gaming

Want to add a bit of fun to your gaming stream? Let the viewers control your game. I’ve got suggestions for many popular games!

👾 Minecraft

With TikFinity’s Minecraft plugin, your imagination is the limit. TikFinity can trigger any Minecraft Java console command.

Viewers could send a Rose to spawn a creeper, new followers could give you diamonds, and chat commands could kill you. The choice is yours! Setup tutorial below.

🚔 GTA 5

Next up is a similar plugin for GTA 5 offline and story mode. Viewers can send gifts, likes, follows or subs which result in all sorts of different actions such as killing the player, spawning vehicles, changing wanted levels and more.

🕹 What About Other Games?

I’m sure you’ve noticed these are all solo games so far. So what about online and multiplayer games? Well, usually the terms of service of such games prohibit third-party applications from altering the game, for obvious reasons!

However, I still have some suggestions that players of Fortnite, Valorant, Warzone and many other games could follow.

One of the many great features on the Actions & Events page of TikFinity is the ability to read text out loud.

Here’s how viewers can control your game with no plugins needed.

1. Create a new Action and check the “Read Text (TTS)” box.

2. Type in their username, the gift (or follow, like or sub) and what the action will do.
   For example: “{username} sent {giftname}. Drop your items.”

3. Make a new event and choose the trigger. Most commonly used would be specific gifts.

4. Make sure screen 1 or whatever screen it is assigned to is added to OBS/LS.

Now when the criteria are met, the TTS will trigger and the robot voice will tell you to take an action in the game. You must then manually do this action. For example by opening your inventory and dropping everything.

🔊 Sound Alerts

The Sound Alerts page on TikFinity is not only the fastest page to set up but potentially the most profitable.

1. Click Create Sound Alert.

2. Choose the trigger. Typically a gift.

3. Choose your sound from the massive free library of sounds or upload your own.

The sound plays from your web browser. If you stream with LS or OBS just make sure your desktop audio is being captured. If you’re streaming from a phone then just make sure your phone microphone is picking up your computer speakers.

This is a fantastic and simple way to incentivise gifts. My suggestion is to assign short sounds to lower-value gifts and assign longer sounds to higher-value gifts.

📰 Content Creator News
