Free emotes, Kick CEO interrogated plus tools to make content more easily.
Hey, itās Harry.
Welcome back to another week of the streaming and content grind.
Isnāt it frustrating when you hit Go LIVE and the views arenāt what you expect? Letās talk about why that happens.
In todayās edition of Live Success:
š How to get more views on your livestream
š¢ Kick CEO faces 90-minute interrogation

š Strategies To Increase Your Views
A common question during 1-on-1 calls and in comments on my YouTube channel is āWhy did my stream views go down?ā. Here are some things to consider.
Trying new things can be a double-edged sword. Itās always great to experiment but sometimes it takes your viewers time to adapt. Some TikTok LIVE Studio users tell me their view count went down after they switched from phone streaming. Keep experimenting!
Have a clear strategy for engagement. Decide what youāll do or say when people follow, like, sub or donate gifts/money.
Study other streamers. Find other people doing what you do. See what works for them and take inspiration.
Use tech to increase engagement. TikFinity for TikTok, BotRix for Kick and Streamlabs for others.
Increase the reach of your streams by multistreaming, posting a TikTok/Short before going live and widely sharing your stream link on socials before going live.
š¢ Kick.com CEO Answers Important Questions
Last weekend, Eddie, the CEO of Kick, was interviewed. I watched the 90-minute interview so that you donāt have to.
Here are the key takeaways:
Adin Ross is a brand risk, he admitted. Conversations are taking place to prevent him from going too crazy. For reasons like this, people like Pokimane have turned down Kick offers.
Kick will never run Stake adverts on the platform. The simple reason is that the community doesnāt want that. Kick is also a ābigger projectā than Stake.
Advertising will be how Kick makes money. While Kick clearly has work to do to convince advertisers, Eddie believes he can innovate so adverts arenāt too intrusive. The 95/5 sub split is here to stay.
Kick Prime could exist. Kick has a good relationship with Amazon, and the fact Amazon hosts Kickās servers is not an issue. Livestreaming is not as expensive as people think.
DMCA laws will be respected. Kick āisnāt a websiteā where you can come and do anything with no consequences.
A creator incentive program is coming. This will pay streamers an hourly rate. It is likely youāll need a decent number of viewers before you can join the program.
My take? Give Kick a go. Try multistreaming and give it a few weeks. Check out my Kick multistream guide to stream on both Kick and TikTok LIVE.
