It’s been a while since I made this video all about making money. So it’s time for a refresher. By the end of this newsletter, you will learn about:

💵 $50,000 Per Month

This is how much money Jakey Boehm was making from sleep streams every month. TikTok has since clamped down on these (why? I have no idea).

Jakey has since switched to interactive gaming live streams instead and guess what? He’s still making thousands of dollars every week from gifts.

So how is he able to switch to a completely different niche and still make thousands? Pretty simple, he’s built the most interactive live stream possible.

So what exactly is he doing? To put it simply, he’s providing extra entertainment in exchange for gifts.

Here is Jakey’s blueprint:

• Hook them in. Give your viewers a free and easy dopamine hit! The most obvious one is displaying their name or profile picture when they follow you. Jakey has got super creative and outputs their profile picture onto a very old Mac.

• Keep the average view duration high. Jakey knows only a small number of people will gift but he also knows anybody can like or share. So every 15,000 likes Jakey automatically sets off lights and music in his streaming room so that every single viewer feels like they have contributed. Of course, the algorithm sees the high average watch time and simply pushes the stream to more people!

• Price appropriately. Viewers can send gifts to do all sorts of things in Jakey’s streams. Activate a shock bracelet, control room lights, set off an inflatable, control his game, play videos on screen… you get the point.
  
  While other streamers tend to overcharge, Jakey never does. The vast majority of interactions in his stream can be triggered with less than $5 and many are under $1. Don’t forget for every 200 coins a viewer spends you get $1.
  
  But don’t think he’s forgotten about the high-value gifts. He typically just lengthens the duration of whatever is happening or simply just activates every prop he’s got all at once. When Jakey gets a TikTok Universe you know about it 😂.

• Change things up. Jakey understands one key thing: TikTok viewers are always looking for something new. So every week or two he completely changes things up. New alerts, new stream design, new games, new gifts and more. Two weeks ago he was playing Fortnite yet now he is spawning TikTok users into GTA. In the two days it took me to draft this newsletter he has since switched again to Rust!

How can I possibly do this myself?

Jakey is a gifted programmer but luckily you don’t have to be:

• Use TikFinity to add alerts for things like follows, gifts and likes. I’ve put together an overview of TikFinity in this video.

• Post a video advertising your live stream a few minutes before going live.

• Optimise your LIVE Studio or OBS setup. Use every available inch of the screen as Jakey does.

• If you’re using a webcam then make sure your streaming room looks great or simply use a green screen.

📈 3 Steps For More Subscribers

Every new sub on TikTok makes you $2.10. Fancy an extra $100 a month? You’ll need around 48 subs. So here are my 3 steps to get more TikTok subs:

1. Improve your offer. By default your subs will only get some chat emotes and a badge. This is great, but we can do better. So offer your own incentives to subscribe!
   Subscribers on my gaming TikTok get a chat badge, chat emotes, a follow back, a Discord role, added on Fortnite, ability to play on stream and TTS. I make sure to remind my viewers of this often.

2. Make them feel valued. The desire to be appreciated and noticed is a basic human instinct. Play on this. You’d be surprised how effective it can be to simply thank your subscribers every time you see them or to engage with every message they send.

3. Increase your tech game. Use TikFinity to put the names of new subscribers on the screen.
   Did you know you can also use TikFinity to create subscriber-only actions? For example, you could set it so when a sub sends a rose it outputs their name. But when a normal viewer does, nothing happens!

😍 Share The Products You Love!

I’ve made over $1,000 by promoting Streamlabs Ultra. I’ve made similar amounts with NordVPN and TikFinity. It felt so easy!

Why did it feel so easy? Because I was already enjoying and using the product.

So once again I have another 3 step plan for you:

1. Think about every single product you love to use. Websites, software, physical products, etc. Don’t forget about Amazon!

2. Join their affiliate program. Most programs have no requirements. The company will usually pay you 20 to 50% of whatever your viewers spend on their product. Everyone wins!

3. Share with your viewers. “But Harry my viewers will hate me for it!” No, they won’t. Tell your viewers that clicking the link supports you and makes you money. I guarantee your viewers want to see you succeed. Plus, if you’re enjoying the product yourself there is no doubt many of your viewers will enjoy it too.
