Welcome back to another week of the streaming and content journey.

📉 The Low Viewership Struggle
Scrolling through Twitter/X last week I came across this interesting post from Paopura.
Some of yall will use every excuse in the book to not talk in your streams. I started from 0, wanna know how I grew? I talked. I talked even when no one was watching. As streamers, we’ve all been there at some point. You boot up the stream and bam, low viewership. The way you respond to this challenge is what distinguishes the novices from the pros.
Paopura had a plan to deal with this. Just talk. Even if nobody is there, talk as if they are. Analyse your game, talk about your day or your hobbies. To make it easier, she prepared topics. Keep that energy high.
Streaming is not supposed to be easy, I argue that it is easily the toughest form of content compared to long-form video or short-form vertical content.
Even if nobody is watching at the time, you can repurpose that content into short-form content or even a longer YouTube video!

🔴 𝕏 Livestreaming Changes Are Coming
Since the takeover back in October 2022, Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) has been working slowly to improve livestreaming on the platform. This week, Elon himself weighed in.
Elon Musk is pledging a "High priority fix" to make live content on X more visible.

Simply put, the visibility of livestreams on X is extremely poor right now. Elon has now pledged a “high priority fix” to improve this. It remains to be seen what this fix involves.
You Can Livestream On X?
Yes! And while it shouldn’t be your primary livestreaming platform it can absolutely be used as a funnel to another streaming platform like TikTok, Twitch or Kick.
One of the major benefits of multistreaming is the increase in the reach of your content. It’s then your choice whether you want to funnel everybody somewhere or simply use the native growth and monetisation tools from that platform.
Video Tutorials
I always find multistreaming to be easiest with Streamlabs and you can use Dual Output for free with two platforms or try my affiliate link for Streamlabs Ultra and multistream up to 10 platforms. That said, OBS is also a popular choice.

You can create your own free newsletter with Beehiiv. That’s an affiliate link but honestly, the free tier is incredible and I used it for this newsletter up to about 800 subs.
Also with Beehiiv Boosts the newsletter can pay for itself.
