🎯 Essential Resources To Monetise And Grow - Live Success #6

Multiply your earnings with these vital resources.

Hey, it’s Harry.

Are you part of a TikTok LIVE agency? Regardless of your answer, hit reply and let me know your general thoughts about agencies. More on that later.

This week’s edition is all about learning.

I’ve gained over 100,000,000 short-form views, over TikTok 350,000 followers and more importantly over 1,000,000 views on my tutorial content (and over 80 newsletter subs, thank you!!). Without some of the resources mentioned in this newsletter, I wouldn’t be anywhere close to this.

Today we are covering:

  • 🚀 Power-Up: My top resources for boosting TikTok LIVE skills.

  • đŸŽ„ Essential Viewing: YouTube channels I find incredibly helpful.

  • 💡 Read & Grow: Newsletters that deliver real value and growth.

  • 🐩 Follow for Success: Twitter profiles offering more than just sales pitches.

🚀 My Top Resources

Let’s start with my own content and TikTok LIVE resources before branching out into wider content creation resources.

Broadly speaking, people come across my content for 3 main reasons. So let’s cover those now.

TikTok LIVE Studio

This lets you stream from a Windows PC to TikTok LIVE. It is custom software built by TikTok itself.

Here are my top 3 LIVE Studio resources:

  • LIVE Studio Setup - my most recent setup guide. Showing how to get a decent setup for both landscape and portrait streamers.

  • How To Fix LIVE Studio - Sadly LIVE Studio has many bugs. This is my most recent LS video and goes through a document released by TikTok about troubleshooting issues.

  • Improve The Look Of LIVE Studio - General tips about making your LIVE Studio stream look better.

Stream Keys

To this day there is still no clear explanation from TikTok when it comes to stream key access. However, most people obtain them through agencies these days.

This video explains everything I know about stream keys in 2023.

If you’re lucky enough to have a stream key then this guide explains how to set up OBS in both landscape and portrait.

Finally, I always suggest that stream key users multistream. This short guide explains how I use Streamlabs Ultra to multistream with no extra computing power or upload speed. This was previously called Streamlabs Prime.

Alerts (TikFinity)

Finally, we have the fun part which is alerts. TikFinity is really the only fully featured alerts platform for TikTok. LIVE Studio’s in-built alerts cannot compete.

I’ve covered TikFinity in depth in many of my YouTube videos but here are 3 important ones:

  • How To Use TikFinity - Also linked below. This one explains the basics of everything including follow, gift and sub alerts.

  • Minecraft Integration - Allows viewers to control your Minecraft Java game with gifts, follows, commands and more.

  • Interactive Gaming - How I set up an interactive gaming stream for any game using TikFinity.

đŸ”„ Best YouTube Channels for Creator Growth

To state the obvious, live streaming should just be one part of your strategy as a content creator. These YouTube channels have helped me grow in the areas of YouTube videos, sponsorships, live streaming and the creator economy.

YouTube Growth

When it comes to analysing YouTube videos, nobody does it better than Paddy Galloway.

Paddy’s clients gain over 750,000,000 views per month and before he went independent he was working with MrBeast.

On his own channel, he breaks down strategies used by top YouTubers to gain more YouTube views and make more money. I don’t have a specific video to recommend, just watch any of his videos. Every single video is worth the 10 minutes!

We’ll talk more about Paddy in the Twitter section. Including why I sent him the data from an entire channel of mine.

Sponsorships

If you’ve been on my newsletter for a while you will have seen me frequently mention Just Moore AKA Creator Wizard. He will completely change your perspective when it comes to sponsorships.

With sponsorships, he’ll explain why views don’t matter as much as you think and how to reach out to brands when they aren’t coming to you.

If you’re new to sponsorships then start with this playlist. Otherwise, just scroll through his videos and find something that is relevant to you.

Live Streaming, Esports and Marketing

There are few people in the creator economy who have more experience than Devin Nash.

If you love in-depth analysis you’ll find his channel incredibly useful. He typically does 30 to 45-minute analysis of current issues surrounding streaming, esports or marketing. This will greatly help you with your overall content strategy.

Devin Nash is the main reason I started multistreaming and the main reason I suggest to everyone else that they do this too.

Creator Economy

The term “Creator Economy” to me just refers to all the ways a content creator is making money. Nobody covers this better than Colin and Samir.

They usually use a podcast-style format to interview the biggest creators including MrBeast, Mark Rober and just about any other creator you can think of. They know exactly the right questions to ask and you’ll find any video extremely useful.

Their full MrBeast podcast is super insightful. MrBeast basically gives away everything he has learned.

Equally as good is their MrBeast documentary, during the physical opening of the first Beast Burger restaurant. Linked below.

đŸ’Œ TikTok LIVE Agencies

These days it seems like the only way to get a stream key is via a TikTok LIVE agency. Therefore, I am compiling a list of all agencies that currently grant them. When the list is ready, I will release it in this newsletter first and then via a video on my channel.

Anyway, can you help me out? 😀 Answer the one-question poll on my community tab. Let me know if you’re in an agency and if you are then please share the name and country of the agency.

Have you had a really bad or good experience with an agency? Hit reply and let me know. I am curious to hear! đŸ€”

đŸ“© Essential Newsletters

Well if you’ve got this far into today’s edition you are obviously a fan of newsletters so here are even more newsletters that I personally read.

Most of the links below are affiliate links. They typically gain me free resources when I hit a certain sign-up target (not money). I genuinely read every edition though so thanks for clicking! 😀

  1. Creator Wizard - I’ve already mentioned Justin’s YouTube channel. His newsletter contains even more juicy content. Every week he sends paid sponsorship opportunities for free direct to your inbox alongside super helpful tips for making money.

  2. Publish Press - Colin and Samir’s team send the latest content creator news three times a week into your inbox. You’ll always be up to date! Don’t forget to confirm your email if you sign up for this one.

  3. Creator Hooks - This one is super simple yet so helpful. Every week Jake will send you 5 viral YouTube video titles. Simply adapt them for your own YouTube channel and you can’t go wrong!

  4. Paddy Galloway - The second of three times I’ll mention him in this edition. He simply sends great YouTube growth advice every single week. Not even an affiliate link, I just love the newsletter!

đŸ§” Twitter Gold: Profiles to Boost Your Growth

While Elon clearly loves causing drama, Twitter is still the central hub of discussion around content creation. Here are the most insightful accounts. I’ve already mentioned most of them earlier!

Paddy Galloway

I am once again mentioning Paddy, this time his Twitter account. Paddy keeps his Twitter account super focused, you’ll learn about YouTube and nothing else.

I contributed all of the data from my Rich YouTubers Shorts channel to this study which helped Paddy analyse what makes a successful short video. I highly recommend reading the full thread if you post Shorts.

Muaaz

Need some motivation for streaming or content creation? Muaaz is the man.

Every single day, Muaaz will send motivational tweets but importantly he’ll also share great advice for growing and monetising too. đŸ€‘

Check out his thread below where many creators have shared growth advice.

🔹 The Ban Hammer

Did you see that TikTok is being banned in Montana? It isn’t until January 2024 though. Personally, I don’t think this ban will make it through the courts.

Everyone should be wary of a ban though. Check out the first-ever edition of Live Success where I shared how to prepare for a ban.

I realise today’s edition is a longer one. This is only edition #6 so I am still working out the optimal length for my newsletter.

Hit reply if you have any feedback, especially if you’ve been involved with an agency.

Thanks for reading!
