In a single TikTok livestream, Pinkydoll made $1,187.

How does it work?

Pinky sits in her kitchen, makes popcorn with her hair straighteners and speaks in a monotone voice. This gets her over 60,000 concurrent viewers at times.

Viewers send gifts and she replies with robotically spoken comments such as “Mmm, ice cream so good”.

Some have criticised her for a lack of “innovation” while others defend her.

Why does it work?

It begins with the basics. Her camera is well-placed, her kitchen background looks good and she is dressed for the occasion.

The gifts are flowing, the chat is popping and signals like this feed into the algorithm which pushes the stream to tens of thousands of viewers.

Why do the viewers send gifts in the first place? That’s more difficult to answer. Personally, I get ASMR vibes. It feels almost relaxing and hypnotic. Why do you think it works? Hit reply and let me know.

Should you copy her?

For most people, I don’t think trying to copy her will work. What she’s been doing clearly takes a ton of energy and effort. If you want to do something similar, find a unique way to do it.

Add your own twist. For example, I’ve not seen many gamers trying this. Don’t forget you can also add TikFinity’s technology on top.

This week BobbySolez reached 1M followers, gaining over 200K in 3 weeks. Let’s break down his success.

Videos

Bobby runs a video series where he creates a new outfit every day. It is relatable, engaging and infinitely repeatable. A great combination for success.

He also makes sure his videos are over 1 minute long. Assuming he is in the new Creativity Program this means he could be making $1,000 from 1M views.

Many of his videos have over 2M views. $2K per day to show off your outfit? Not bad!

Livestreaming

When I last watched Bobby’s TikTok stream a few weeks ago it was a work of art. He was playing Wordle Unlimited, a game perfect for TikTok LIVE.

Why is it perfect? Wordle encourages engagement as viewers type their guesses into the chat. The algorithm sees this as a signal to push the stream to more people. Whatever you do on TikTok LIVE, always keep the chat engaged.

On top of this, Bobby has the perfect outgoing and relatable personality for streaming and knows exactly when to use a CTA.

What’s a CTA? “follow my snap”, “buy my merch” etc. Bobby was typically doing one just before submitting his final Wordle guess because he knows the viewers won’t leave at this point. Genius!
